One comment that comes up a lot from commuters who have problems seeing their GP is that they would like to see a GP near their work.
This is called Dual Registration and involves being registered with a home GP and a second GP near your work.
GPs have been asking for this for years.
The government continually says no.
You can probably guess the reason.
(Dr Rant assumes it has something to do with the secondary GP wanting some money for providing such a service).

Sorry for the patchy service recently.

good to see the rants pushing for something a little more customer centric
of course the customers should be able to go to ANY gp they want
and they should have their medical records encrypted onto a USB stick they carry instead of the crap govt systems
