In cases when the little shits try and cause trouble about the kicking you gave them, then teach the fuckers a lesson: dredge through their private life and all their clinical cases, talk to staff (making it clear that failure to report even the most minor issues will result in them getting 'the treatment' too), and find as many minor problems as possible.
String the minor problems together and, with your best pious 'this hurts me more than it hurts you' face on, use these as 'evidence' that the doctor is a problem doctor.
If that fails, call up your Circle of Witches pals at the GMC and MDDUS and get them to fuck him up too.

Needham is reported to have used an eight year old incident from when Dr Scot Junior was a medical student to justify her suspension.
Note the process: find someone who criticises your political scheme, decide on the punishment, find 'evidence' to prove their guilt, decide on the nature of the 'crime' after you determine guilt and deicide on the punishment.
Does that seem familiar? Well, it should: all totalitarian systems that run by people who are unelected, unaccountable, and have limitless powers are the same.
Note that Dr Rant suspects a New Labour conspiracy deep in Scottish Nats territory.
These people are filth. They are scum. They have no insight. They have no empathy. They have no shame. They have no honour. They have no right to be where they are. They have no future.

Very similar tactics are employed by NHSLA for dealing with patients who have cheek to complain the wrong leg's been chopped off. Oh, and if you're a mental patient, then it gets really, really dirty. Perhaps one day I will be able (allowed) to tell you an incredible but true story. But you won't believe me because I'm a looney. btw You're not the only one to have lawyers crawling over your blog. Some of mine have even followed me over here. But take no notice of me, I'm just a crazy, with paranoid delusions.
yep nhs complaints process for patients is just as bent, ive tried telling the docs rant but they dont believe me
yes its unelected and unaccountable, but thats what you get with a state backed mono structure like the nhs with no competition and with the end customers having no say
the docs as well as the patients would benefit from the whole shooting match being split up, the docs coult then choose which management team they wanted to work for
Actually, Dr Rant is intimate with how crap the NHS complaints systems are.
They are clearly designed to grind down anyone attempting to complain about the shit care that is endemic in the NHS: dirty hospitals, so few nurses that patients get no hands on care, patients having to shit and piss in their own beds, cancelled ambulance transport, poor continuity of care, lack of communication, long waiting times, the death of 'diagnosis' as a cornerstone of a hospital admission etc, etc, etc.
The reason Dr Rant does not post more horror stories is because that's largely Dr Crippen's territory (or was).
Also, maintaining patient confidentiality is very important for a grumpy old bastard blog like Dr Rant.....
(And, of course, we're saving the best stories for the book.....)
Dr Rant...indeed, these people are not people at all. They are evil subhuman clones. I can only imagine the anguish that Dr Scot Jnr's suffering now.
What's the common denominator in this wholesale abuse of doctors and patients...? Management. And those senior doctors who've been persuaded by avarice and power to go over to the Dark Side.
Patients and doctors got along great until they infiltrated their toxic way into the NHS. We had far more honest, straightforward, empathic relationships until this culture of fear and spin began its reign of terror.
(Hey, Dr Rant, never feel such delicate sensitivity about keeping details of my case confidential...blog about it all you like!! One day it'll find its way into medical literature anyway. There are more than a few pondlife specimens around my local PCT who are shitting themselves and doing everything - I mean everything - they can to silence me.)
Off to write another complaint, copied to MP, Min for Health and my blog...evil will not prevail.
'S funny you should say that Deb, because I'm sat here with 2 blank sheets of paper and my fountain pen, poised to write a letter to Mr Deeply Committed MP. My own MP the Mr ToryBoy Twatty-Twat-Twat, does not condescend to correspond with homeless madmen, even though I'm actually considerably posher than he is, and currently not really very mad at all.
Dr Rant
You say you are "intimate with how crap the NHS complaints systems are.

You give 8 examples of "shit care plus three 'etc's but, interestingly, you make no mention of the shit care which some patients receive where doctors are the providers of that shit care. I hope this is an oversight and not a belief that "shit care" comes only from the system and not from doctors directly.
Until doctors, as a group, accept that some doctors do give 'shit care' then two groups - patients and doctors - who should be working together - will be fighting against each other.
I, but especially Mrs Carr, have seen "shit care" at all levels from GPs, psychiatrists, psychotherapist, nurse therapists, and, last but not least, bureaucrats. The system, but let's not forget that the system consists of people, crushes those who don't just accept what is offered.
We, as patients, can't know about the particular problems "behind the scenes" but we do know when care given is wrong , inappropriate or given coldly and callously.
It's time for doctors to be more open; to acknowledge that there are problems which are caused by them and their colleagues; that their care can fall below the level which they would expect to receive.
Then patients and doctors can work together to root out the system and bureaucratic problems.
Doc - I'm becoming more and more convinced that this is Common Purpose we're looking at. It's the behaviour pattern.
And your reference to a New Labour plot ... well, in essence, New Labour/Common Purpose are to all intents and purposes the same thing.
Origins
Common Purpose was founded by a harridan called Julia Middleton. At the time she founded it, she was Dominatrix ... er ...DIRECTOR of PERSONNEL in the OFFICE of the DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER, fatslug cunt Prescott.
Do you need to know any more than that? What could YOU do in such a position if you were so minded?
PS - I've messaged my brother to tell you his little story, as per your call for stories. It directly involves the management at Raigmore, being put on the wrong pay grade, and getting such a strop on about it and the fact he encountered an attitude of 'so what', that he fucked off to Australia. I suspect though that he may feel that they can still fuck him up even over there. We'll see.
Totally agree with you Calum. One of the oldest tactics in the book is to set one faction against each other in order to distract from the real culprits and causes of dysfunction.
Before gvt interference and the insertion of state monitors and enforcers (aka management), patients and doctors had a great deal more respect for each other.
I fear that - as the appalling intimidation of poor Dr Scot Jnr has amply demonstrated - far fewer clinicians are brave enough to speak out in case they too are harassed, bullied, and harried out of the profession.
It cannot be at all pleasant or easy to work in such a system. Mistakes are bound to be made.
Time to make an accurate dx guys on where the real illness lies! Time to work together to heal it!
